This was originally from our Pastor at Celebrate God’s Goodness Fellowship Center. They once lived in an area surrounded by NPA (New People’s Army).
NPA is the armed wing of the Communist Party of the Philippines. It was formed on March 29, 1969. The Maoist NPA conducts its armed guerrilla struggle based on the strategical line of ‘protracted people’s war‘.The NPA has been classified as a terrorist organization by the United States.
The NPA operates mostly in the rural areas and their targets often include politicians, military, police, criminals, landlords, business owners and occasionally U.S. agents in the Philippines.
Our pastor was preaching the Word of God in their area, until they got tired of him and wanted to do something with it. One day, our pastor and his family noticed some rattling noise from outside. When he tried to look through a hole, he saw the gunmen surrounding his house. They all felt horrible and he had his family hide in safety while he kept looking through the hole. He was listening to their conversation and noticed that they were not doing anything.
He heard one of them saying, “I’m sure, their house is here somewhere. It was just here”. One of the leaders of the troop told him, “Are you sure? There’s nothing in here. This is just a big rock and nothing else”.
Our Pastor was so amazed to hear that. He can see them, but they couldn’t. Since they only saw a big rock. The gunmen just grew tired so they all went home.
God was surely protecting our Pastor and his family, and that was a great miracle he has shared with everyone for the past 20 years now.

Who are you? Who am I?
I am a random kid you see in the streets. I always wear jeans. I have a family. I went to school when I was younger. I have ups and downs. I have feelings and I don’t keep it in. I eat and live. I work but I get tired. I love to play. I love birds and trees. I like it when it’s raining and no one’s watching so I can play in the rain. Sometimes I hold grudges. I’m irritable. I hate it when someone gives me orders like I’m the only person on earth. I hate it when people try to criticize me when they don’t know who I am. I love strawberry. I love music. I hate haters. Sometimes I hate myself. Sometimes I get confused. Most of the time I follow whats on my mind but I always end up as a mess. Or at least I thought. Sometimes I get attention I don’t really expect. I have friends. They said they love me. There are people protecting me. I am not alone. But sometimes I do feel alone. I am someone…
Do I sound like someone you know? That’s a typical “About Me” section of a random person. But that’s not all there is. Who Am I? Really. Ask yourself. We’re just… mere humans? We love, we hate, we forgive. We live, we work, we die. We do the things we want to more than the things we need to. Well that applies to most people nowadays. What I’m trying to point out is this: What’s so special in us?
Love Covers A Multitude of Sins

It’s true isn’t it? Whatever we do, whatever we say – all we need is love.
See, before the world began, there already was Love. Love was God and God is love. Whatever we do, it’s love that covers that. We commit mistakes everyday, but it’s God’s love for us that we were saved. For God so loved the world…
We get hurt, but because of love – we forgive. Sometimes we hurt the others, but because of love – they forgive. We get sad, lonely, tired and unhappy, but when someone loves us, we feel the exact opposite.
Even the strongest man in the world needs love. And even the smallest person on earth can give out love. Love is natural. It’s part of who we are. Whether we like it or not, we love and we are being loved. It’s a cycle that never ends. Even the dead are still being loved. Love conquers everything, even death.
Look around you. Do you see how many people are in need of love today? You can start with your family. Give love today, and you’ll be amazed what’s in store for you.
Let today and all the days to come, be the days for us to love each other more than before.
