I don’t know but I just feel happy. ♪♫ The joy of the Lord is my strength ♪♫. So I just came back to work from 2 days off. It was a long vacation because so many things happened. My back is aching. I learned many things.

But now, I’m back to my normal night life. Sitting in front of the computer and talking to different people from across the seas. Doesn’t it sound fun? Well yeah, maybe.  I got used to it. It’s not the best job in the world, but it is one of the best jobs here. I should be thankful.


There are just some times when I feel tired and I miss being at home. Well, that’s just normal. And I have to overcome this. I have to endure these trials. Only determined people will be successful.

Your job is a gift. Mine too. We’ll have to take care of it, like taking care of a special gift. It’s special because it’s a God-given gift.

Whenever we feel weary, it could be either because it’s just normal or because the enemy’s attacking us. When do we notice if we are being attacked? In moments when good things are being hindered. Like my job. It’s a gift from above. A lot of people prayed for this and God heard us and gave me this job. Now when I feel tired, that’s the time I realize it’s the work of the enemy. Why? Being tired is not from God. You will never see any Godly person in the bible being tired in doing God’s work. So, obviously it’s the devil trying to destroy me by making me feel tired. Cause he knows what lies ahead. He knows that God is at work and will bless me if I endure.

We’ll have to be alert and know when the enemy attacks. I think that’s it for today.

‘Batang Carabao’ child labor is OK if parents approve—DSWD – Regions – GMANews.TV – Official Website of GMA News and Public Affairs – Latest Philippine News

Such a bad view. People in rural areas should be taught the right things. Most of these parents haven’t even finished their studies and they’re thinking that using their children as Carabao substitutes is ok. That is child labor! And I so disagree with the DSWD in the Caraga Region. Who says “as long as one or both parents approve of it”? I mean where did they get the idea. Of course one or both of the parents will approve if they think what they’re doing is right. Most of them are uncivilized people who only based their teachings from their ancestors and from what they heard from their neighbors.

I actually thought that’s what DSWD’s job is. To do what is right for the children when the parents couldn’t. It’s the welfare of the children we’re talking about here. I hope their eyes will be open.

We cannot measure God’s wisdom. Pity on those who think they know they answers. Pity on those who think they have potentials. I don’t mean this negatively. There’s always something special in us. But those doesn’t mean, it’s naturally from us. It’s a God given gift. Most of us are able to find it, but not able to use it the way it’s intended to. God has set something in our hearts to use for His Glory. That’s the main reason why we live. God made us to know Him, love Him and to serve Him.

I loved this sermon I heard a few months ago. It’s about three types of life drivers.

1. There’s a type of driver who just wants to enjoy the ride and lets the devil take the wheel. Obviously, you will find him in dark areas such as: disco bars, night clubs. Drugs, alcohol, sex and destruction are often times associated to him. That’s because, where the devil is, there he is. He lets the devil own his life and he just rides with him not knowing when and where it’s gonna end.

2. There’s another type of driver who takes over the wheel and drive for himself. That’s because he has confidence that he knows what he’s doing. Most of the time, his idea is that, he owns his life and he knows who he is, thus he knows how to operate his life and make it turn out successful in his own ways. He drives his life safely, cause he can see the road and he can see the enemies. He drives securely knowing his life is at stake. He’s a good driver but he can’t make it through. Why not? Simply because he doesn’t know which way to go. He can drive properly but when he reaches the crossroads, he wouldn’t know where to go next.

3. The last type of driver is somewhat like the first driver. But, what makes him different is that he lets God take the wheel and doesn’t depend on his driving. He puts his trust on God cause he acknowledges that God knows what lies ahead and God can take him there.

Dream and Walk

Do you still believe in dreams? I still do. I don’t mean ‘dream’ like literally. When I say dream, it’s the vision you have inside your heart. It starts out as a simple thought. Which you think would just go away, until you find yourself thinking of the same thought over and over again. The more you think of it, it becomes your desire. It gets carved into your heart. Only you know how much you get delighted when you think of it. And only God knows if it’s a way of showing you the things you’re going to do for the rest of your days.

That thought could also be a start of something totally brand new which will change your life forever. This change I’m talking about is not all about you, but this is a change your whole life will thirst for. The change God has set for you long before you were born.

Do you believe we all are capable of something? I do. Not that we are capable of something that makes us different or above everyone else. I don’t mean it like that. We are capable of something unique cause God’s kingdom is built with all the best in the world. Everyone has his own contribution to help in building the entire Kingdom.

I had a thought in my mind when I was young. I’ve thought about it every time and I didn’t notice it becoming my heart’s desire. When I do it, I find peace knowing that I did it for the Lord. I find satisfaction and I always dreamt of myself doing it even after life. Now it’s not just a thought anymore, it became my dream.

Living the dream is another story. Right now I’m at the page of following the right road to reach my dream, which is a hard thing to do. There are so many distractions on the road. And sometimes you even think that what you’re doing is not the right thing to do. That’s the time we need to pray and talk to God about it. For two things: To make sure we’re doing God’s will and To make sure we’re going the right way to reach it. Sometimes we stumble not just because of the stones on the road, but sometimes because we think too much and setting our focus to that goal. It’s never like that, and it will never be. Focus should not be on your goal. Cause your dream will always stay there, it’s you who has to reach it. And our bodies are weak, and so is our heart. Our focus should be set to God. We’re reaching the dream God has set in our hearts, because we want to please God. We want to worship Him by doing His will for us. That’s basically what we were meant to do. That’s the very reason why we are living on earth.

We have to set our focus to God, cause it’s He who knows the way. If we put our eyes on the road, all we can see are mountains and storms coming our way. It will make us weaker and weaker until we stop, or worse, we go back to where we began. If we set our focus to God, all we see is His glory and He will be the one to clear the way for us. Because He knows that we are doing is for His glory. And He knows that we are following His will.

Once we get there, we then know that we just started an entirely new page. Cause the story doesn’t end there. It’s not just about us reaching our dreams. It’s about God’s Name being glorified by everything we do. And because of our sinful nature we don’t have any idea how to do that. That’s why God’s always there to tell us what to do and where to go next.

After grabbing that dream, we have to continue walking. Keep walking and start using the dream, your heart has desired. That’s the time your dream becomes part of you. You use it to praise God’s name. And God’s uses it to strengthen your character. But beware, the enemy also uses it to fool you. The enemy is always watching, trying to get the right chance to pull you down. As long as you continue focusing on God, the enemy can never harm you. God’s Words are true and He never fails. That’s all for today.

2/27/2010 2:00 AM – Found the right song! Praise You in the storm by Casting Crowns. Why? First, I like the lyrics. The sense of reality is there. When we follow God, it’s not always a sunny day. There will still be storms on the road. And that doesn’t mean, God left us. It’s one of those times when God carries us. We just don’t see it, we don’t feel it either. That’s usually because, our eyes are focused on the storm itself. All we can see is the dark clouds surrounding us. We feel frightened that we call out on God’s Name but our eyes are still on the darkness. We don’t hear God’s answers cause our ears are too busy listening to the thunders or if not, to the ideas we have in mind to get ourselves out of that situation. Almost totally forgetting that God is always in control. God’s eyes are everywhere. He sees our situations and He will help us if we call out to Him with faith in our hearts. Once we do that, then God will take over us and will clear the storms by His Words.
